The notion of
causality is one of the three main philosophical issues Shakespeare tackles in his work. He tends toward a skeptical view -- things happen for no reason. What do you think -- is there any rhyme or reason to what happens in the world, or are we at the mercy of chaos and randomness?
I believe there is some order to the schemes, but for the most part we are left to chaos. I think that there is a higher being dishing out some justice and injustice, but for the most part, s/he's just watching the world and not really making too many decisions. We as human begins have free will which means we're subjugated to a lot of chaos because we don't know what everyone else is going to do.
